IMP: Link for today's test (CENTA® Teaching Quotient Test for Additional Awards)

Dear xxxxxxxxxxxx,

Thank you once again for registering for the CENTA® Teaching Quotient Test for Additional Awards by Government of Andhra Pradesh for 'Teachers showing Pedagogical Competencies in English Medium'. 

As you would already know, the test is scheduled for today (September 1, 2023 from 4 pm to 6 pm IST). Here is the link to take the test (we hope that you have taken the demo test using the link that was shared last evening):

Your subject is Primary English medium (English, Maths, EVS together) (no change in the same is possible)

Please note that this link is unique to you and is strictly NOT to be shared with anyone else.

Pre-Test Instructions:

1) Your test link will become active only at 4 pm IST today (September 1). If you login after 4:30 pm, you will get only 90 minutes for the test (as opposed to 120 minutes).

2) You can take the test on any device with a front-facing camera and microphone (e.g., mobile, tab, laptop, desktop, etc.). The supported browsers are the latest versions of Chrome, Firefox, and Edge (the test will not work in Safari browser). You will need to provide permission to access your camera and microphone when prompted to do the same. 

3) Once you open the URL, you will be asked to enter your First Name, Last Name, and Email Address on the page. Please ensure that:

A) You also enter your Employee ID in brackets along with your last name in the Last Name field (e.g., if your last name is Kumar and Employee ID is 134672, you will enter Kumar (134672) in the Last Name field)

B) You should enter the SAME email address that you used while registering in the Email field. We will not be able to share your results if there is a mismatch in the email address.

4) Please give the necessary permissions (camera and microphone [also screen sharing of entire screen if you are attempting from a laptop/ desktop/ tab]) for the system to set up the test for you. If the setup fails for any reason, please try refreshing the page. It will take a couple of minutes to set up your test (the system will also capture your photo). Use of Earphones is strictly prohibited.

Test Instructions:

1) You will be proctored (observed) by the system during the test. The system will record all movements you make, any tabs that you shift to, in case you try to talk to someone, in case you use another device, in case you switch off your video, etc. - all of these will be recorded and you will also receive warning messages. CENTA reserves the right to disqualify candidates found indulging in any malpractice during the test.

2) Before you start the test, please show any photo Govt. ID proof into the camera.

3) You can use a piece of paper to do calculations. Please ensure that the paper is blank and you also show the blank paper into the camera before you start the test.

4) The test will have 50 questions and you will have 2 hours to answer. There is no negative marking (so you are encouraged to answer all the questions). You can mark any questions for review and come back to attend them again. 

5) In case you don't submit the test by 6 p.m., the test will get auto-submitted.
