 Cyclone Jawad likely to reach north Andhra, Odisha coasts by December 4

The weather office has warned of a cyclonic storm Jawad that is likely to hit the coasts of north Andhra Pradesh and Odisha on Saturday morning. A red alert has been sounded for Gajapati, Ganjam, Puri and Jagatsinghpur districts in Odisha and coastal areas are expected to receive heavy rainfall. Andaman and Nicobar Islands may also witness light to moderate rainfall on Thursday and coastal districts of West Bengal and north coastal Andhra Pradesh may also get heavy showers.
