Read the following:

1. G.O. Ms. No. 1, Department for WCDA&SC(Prog. II), Dt:20.01.2023. 2. Representations of A.P. Disabled Network, A.P., Dated.06.02.2023 & 29.05.2023.

3. Report of the Director, WDAT&SC, A.P., Vijayawada in e-file bearing No. 1848577.

ORDER:

Whereas, vide G.O 1st read above, orders were issued exempting all the Visually Impaired employees in the state from marking attendance through the Facial Recognition Based Attendance System (FRBAS) until the attendance system are made accessible to the Visually Impaired Employees;

2. Now therefore, after careful consideration of the representations in the reference 2nd read above and in the circumstances reported by the Director, Welfare of Differently Abled, Transgender and Senior Citizens, A.P., Vijayawada, vide reference 3rd read above, Government hereby order to exempt the employees with Permanent Physical Impairment of Both Upper Extremities with 90% and above disability (Both hands amputated or totally non-functional) in the State, also from marking attendance through the Facial Recognition Based Attendance System (FRBAS) until the attendance systems are made accessible to such differently abled employees.

3. The ITE&C Department and the General Administration Department, shall therefore take further necessary action accordingly and issue suitable instructions to all concerned. (BY ORDER AND IN THE NAME OF THE GOVERNOR OF ANDHRA PRADESH)
