ANNUAL STUDENT COMPETITION FOR THE YEAR 2021-22
VAARADHI (A platform for facilitating development initiatives)

I.INTRODUCTION 

VAARADHI is a voluntary initiative of likeminded people. The organization, as the name indicates, would like to help in establishing a platform for facilitating the activities of non-governmental organizations working in various fields and to provide empowerment to the young people of India.

VAARADHI started off in the year, 2013, and operates primarily in the states of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. The organization proposes to hold competitions for class X, XI and XII students on socially relevant topics every year, and has successfully held Five annual competitions so far. 

The objective is to make the youth of the country aware of the social reality, of India, and make them conscious of the challenges which the country is facing. It also intends, in the future, to promote students’ and people’s exchange programme within India/abroad.

II.RULES OF PARTICIPATION:

In order to encourage group work, it has been planned that the students need to participate only in group in both essay & elocution competitions. The groups can comprise a minimum of two members and maximum three at final level.

III.TOPICS:

ESSAY:  If I have the authority/ opportunity to change my Village /     City/ Country, What would I do?

ELOCUTION: Virtual Classes vs Live Classes- Discuss the Pros and Cons.

IV.RULES OF THE COMPETITION:

1.Students are advised to come at least one hour before the scheduled time.

2.The top three students from each region in essay/elocution competition will be invited to the final one-day workshop-cum-competition Rules (Zoom Meeting with Dr. Mohan Kanda, Former Chief Secretary) for the finals will be sent to the shortlisted students separately.

3.A panel of judges will evaluate the performance based on the following criteria:
